MIMIKO TO HOST THE 2ND EDITION OF DR. FREDERICK FASEHUN ANNUAL PUBLIC LECTURE

Dr. Frederick Fasehun Annual Public Lecture is an annual programme initiated to honour a living icon who sacrificed his comfort to fight for democracy, social justice and humanity in those dark days of our nation's history and to advance those ideals and principles imperative for the heralding of a new and better social order in Nigeria and to put leadership skills in the young ones.

The maiden edition took place last year in Ondo State, Dr. Frederick Fasehun State of Origin with Governors, Ex-Governors, Obas, Ministers, Commissioners, Business Tycons, Youth Leaders, Students and people from all facet of life were in attendance.

The programme recorded over 2000 participant from primary school level to the tertiary level and Ondo State was on a Stand Still on that day.

This year’s event is planned to host more dignitaries from the four Geo-Political Zones of Nigeria.

This event is approved by the ONDO STATE GOVERNMENT.

The theme of the lecture is “Social Justice and Credible Leadership Sustains a Nation”, and will be delivered by Comr. Shehu Sani – The National President of Civil Rights Congress.

The official launching of Dr. Frederick Fasehun Leadership Development Foundation in Ondo State will also take place at this event billed for Wednesday, 29th of August, 2012.
