D’banj spotted behind the scenes at his ‘Bachelor’ video shoot…Keeping the anticipation level for his fourth album ‘Mr Endowed‘ on the high, G.O.O.D Music artisteD’banj has concluded the video shoot for his new single ‘Bachelor‘.
The video was shot in Atlanta, US and directed by usual suspect Sesan Ogunro. Ogunro is credited for shooting D’banj’s ‘Oliver twist‘ video and 90% of the defunct Mo’Hits visuals.

Happy birthday to Mike Ezuruonye
Handsome Nollywood actor and husband of Nkechi, Mike Ezuruonye is a year older today, Friday, September 21, 2012. The prolific script interpreter is also a telecoms brand ambassador.
This father of one has come a long way in the make-believe profession in Nigeria. He got married in 2010 to Nkechi Nnorom, who gave birth to their first child in 2011.
Mike is the first son of his parents. He first worked with the defunct Clapperboard TV as a script writer before joining Nollywood professionally in 2003. He had his first Nollywood movie role in the movie 'Broken Marriage'.

COURT SENDS NOLLYWOOD ACTOR TO JAIL FOR HOMOSEXUALITY OFFENCE
A judge of the Karu Senior Magistrates’ Court in Abuja, Nafisatu Buba has sent upcoming Nollywood actor, Bestwood Chukwuemeka to three months imprisonment for pleading guilty to homosexuality offence.
The 28-year-old who was tried on Monday, September 17, 2012 at the court, confessed to have engaged in the act but claimed to have been under the influence of alcohol. He however begged that the court be merciful on him, ‘I am guilty of the charge against me. I was under the influence of alcohol and I want the court to temper justice with mercy’, he said. The presiding judge however, would not give in to such excuse as she slammed him with a three months jail term without an option of fine, adding that it will serve as a lesson to other youth ‘who hide under the influence of alcohol to commit crimes’.
Meanwhile, the actor when previously arraigned, had pleaded not guilty, saying, ‘I came back drunk from the night club and thought I was sleeping on the same bed with my girl-friend and I started romancing her’ which got him a bail in the sum of N200,000 and two sureties, but when he pleaded guilty on the second trial, he was summarily tried and sentenced.
It will be recalled that Nollywood comic act, John Okafor, otherwise known as Mr Ibuin a recent interview, mentioned homosexuality as a factor limiting the growth of the movie industry.
Homosexuality, according to the Same Sex Marriage prohibition bill passed in 2011, prescribes 14 years jail term for whoever enters into a same sex marriage contract and a 10 year jail term for whoever registers, operates a gay organisation or makes a public display of same sex amorous relationship.

Basket Mouth Chops Off His 'Locks' After 9 Years
Basketmouth chops off dreadlocks, sporting a new snazzy look. Basketmouth is known not just for his amazing jokes that get you rolling off your seats but also for his unruly locks. Seems like that would no longer be an identifier for the ace comedian Basketmouth who, as of this morning took out his signature locks. According to Basketmouth, he had been sporting the look for almost 9 years and decided it was time for a new look. Speaking to Bellanaija, he says:

Since ending his four year marriage to Stephanie Henshaw in June this year, Pastor Chris Okotie has never really opened up about what led to his decision to end his marriage. Rev Grace Paul: A blind person knows that my pastor loved his wife, Stephanie, passionately. This year before the separation, he had taken her out of the country at least three times to different places like Dubai, US and so on. He loved her, so did the congregation but the bible says that two cannot walk together except they agree. In the establishment of the kingdom of God, the rules change because the rules are made by God and not by man. So, it didn't have to do with what pastor wanted to do, because left to him, his love will keep him struggling and going at it but if God gives him instruction he has to follow it through.
