While still mourning his wife and preparing to come to Lagos, he was kind enough to speak exclusively with Nigerian Entertainment Today…

So sorry about your loss. And so sorry to be contacting you under this circumstance. Nigerians are shocked to discover, through your FB post, that Goldie was married. I’m wondering if you’ll able to give me more details, and if we can have your permission to print some of the photos in the folder ‘Memories of my darling wife’?
You may print the photos, as for the details it really depends on what it is you’re looking for

Thanks Andrew. Just to clarify a few things

When did you wed her? And were you still married as at when she passed yesterday?
We wed in December 2005 and were very much married when she passed indeed I was talking to her on arrival in Lagos before the fateful event

Rest in peace, Goldie Harvey!

What a sad news for Nigeria and Africa as a whole on a valentines day. Goldie Harvey was fine, just headache, probably she did not know she was going to say her last goodbyes yesterday night.

Here is an official statement released by the late Singer's label, kennis Music:

On behalf of Kennis Music, I’m sad to officially confirm the shocking and untimely passage of Nigeria’s pop star, Goldie Harvey. With a deep sense of loss, we announce the shocking death of our darling music star, Goldie Harvey.
Goldie, 31, died on Thursday after she complained of a severe headache at her Park View residence shortly after her arrival from the United States where she went to witness the Grammy Award. She was rushed to her official hospital, Reddington, Victoria Island, Lagos, where doctors pronounced her dead on arrival.
We consider this period a gloomy moment for us and the entire Nigerian music industry in view of the circumstance Goldie passed away, the abundance of talent she has exhibited in her but eventful music career and the various opportunities her trip to the United States of America would have availed her. She is survived by her father, step- mother, brothers and sisters. We deeply sympathize with her family and fans all over the world and very grateful to all and sundry, especially, the vibrant Nigerian media for their concern and prompt reportage. We shall keep everybody informed as events unfold as we are still devastated by the sudden loss.”
Meanwhile, the remains of Goldie, who hails from Ekiti State has been deposited in the mortuary of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja, Lagos. Goldie represented Nigeria at the Big Brother Star Game in 2012. Her latest effort, she described as three nawti singles from her forthcoming African Invasion album are “Skibo”. “Miliki” and ” Got To Have It,” are presently enjoying heavy rotations on radio and TV stations across the continent. Burial arrangements will be announced by the family. May her soul rest in peace.

Adieu Goldie!!!!

M.I Abaga proposes to Agbani Darego in a Valentine Letter

My Dearest Agbani Darego,
Will you be my valentine?
Do give this the utmost consideration. If you will be my valentine, let me say that I am, first, of all men most privileged, and second, about to engage in heavy research about what being someone’s valentine actually entails.
If you will not be my valentine, I must assume this is only because you would prefer me to ask you to marry me. If so, poste haste and with rapidity in extremis, I would, My Sweetling, desire your hand- and as much of the rest of you as possible -in blissful matrimony.
But wait. I traverse ahead of myself. I have not introduced myself. Sure I have spent many hours ogling over your Instagram photos and following you closely on Twitter, but I have never, as it were, had the opportunity of introducing myself.
I am The Editor.
Ah, My Lollipop, I can see your sad smile now. You are shaking your head, wondering if I am just another one of those men struck by your beauty and effortless grace.
Yes, it is true I am one of those men, but if I might add, I am even more awestruck by your beauty. There is no hope for me.
Marry me, My Cupcake.
Consider the advantages. I have discussed them below.

What Love means to a man - by Amb. Utchay

The male ego is a fragile one. Just as daily compliments & sweet kisses make women feel feminine & pretty, there are similar things you can do for your man to help validate their masculinity. Here are a few tips to help you understand what Love means to a man.

1. LOVE TO A MAN MEANS LET HIM TAKE CHARGE: Don't control him. Don't try to dominate him. Let him take the lead. Let him take charge.

2. LOVE TO A MAN MEANS RESPECT HIM: Respect is to a man what fuel is to a car. The male ego is a fragile one and he will fight to protect it at all cost. The greatest emotional need of a man is not sex. It is respect. Hmmm!

3. LOVE TO A MAN MEANS GIVE HIM ATTENTION: Physical attention is important for guys. Flirt with him and show him that you're attracted to him.

4. LOVE TO A MAN MEANS STAY HOME WITH HIM: Sometimes learn to say "no" to family & friends who have plans for you for the day just to spend time alone with your guy. Don't worry about feeling guilty for saying "no"! People in a relationship need time alone together to build a strong bond.

10 Reasons Why Men Hate To Commit To Women

Amb Utchay

If your man is having a hard time committing to you, he may be doing that as a result of one of these reasons:

1. He is getting all the benefits of being in a romantic relationship without being engaged to you.
So if you are giving him all of you without him being fully committed to you for the long term, you present him with a situation where he sees no tangible reason to take that next step when he is getting all of you free of charge.(Men are hunters in nature)

"I worked hard to win the West African Idol, but Timi Dakolo won" - Omawumi

After coming second at the first West African Idol in 2007, singer Omawumi Megbele has gone ahead to become a force in the music sector. Her jovial nature and distinct sense of style have helped her gain acceptance.
In this interview, she tells us of her plans for marriage, her baby and her career.

What informed your change of hairstyle?
I always make different hairstyles, but whenever I want to get on stage, I know I have a signature look. I try different things. I like my afro look and I advise everybody gets one too, irrespective of the desire to experiment with other styles.
