Saka Returns to Secondary School

Scholar comedian, Afeez Oyetoro, popularly called Saka, recently had an opportunity to return to his alma mater, Koso Community Secondary School, Iseyin, Oyo State. He did not go there to shoot a film. It was courtesy of Celebrity School Uniform Groove, which takes A-List award winning entertainers.
He was there to mentor students, encourage them and give back to the school. The initiative is that of Ballywalls Integrated. Oyetoro attended Mathematics class and marched on the assembly ground with the students symbolically. He admonished the students to be diligent, resilient, prayerful, focused and respectful to elders in all their endeavours.
He said, “I am very happy for this visit and it is indeed very nostalgic and symbolic to be in a school uniform and importantly to be able to affect students and give back to the school. I want to thank the CSUG team for this wonderful initiative and appeal to other celebrities to emulate this.”
A statement from the organisers adds that he donated books to the students, painted some school buildings and gave a cheque to the Dramatic Club of the school. The CSUG team visited Oyetoro’s mother at the family compound and later visited the monarch of the town.
The Managing Director, Ballywalls Integrated, Mr. Olawale Balogun, said, “I am taken aback with high level of humility of Mr. Oyetoro, when he said he will come back to his alma-mater here in Iseyin. “
