Nigeria's Next Super Model 2012 Screening held last week Sunday June 11th at Rays Inn, Apapa Lagos. Over a hundred aspiring models from Lagos, Ibadan, Kaduna, Bayelsa, Port-Harcourt, and Delta all came to be part of Nigeria's biggest and most consistent modelling competition.


 
 
 
 

Sony Music signs 12 year-old Nigerian singer, Kamsee

A 12-year-old pop singer Kamsi Ekpeyong popularly known Kamsee has reportedly signed a two-year record deal with Sony Music Entertainment Africa.

E-Punch reports that South African entertainment mogul Jandre Louw who acts as a representative for Sony Music in South Africa flew into Lagos recently to meet with the rapper’s father Gen. Peter Ekpenyong before wrapping up the deal with Kamsee.

The terms of the contract, according to unconfirmed reports, will see the company fund and oversee the recording, promotion and marketing of Kamsee’s debut album in all its markets across the world.

Kamsee, a JS2 student at the Trinity International College who is often referred to as the ‘Nigerian Justin Bieber’ released his debut single titled ‘Friends’ with a follow up video in January 2011.
He has already performed at top shows including AY-Live, Wizkid’s Album Launch  Concert, Stella Damasus’ album launch, 2011 Calabar Carnival to mention some.
