Basket Mouth Chops Off His 'Locks' After 9 Years

Basketmouth chops off dreadlocks, sporting a new snazzy look. Basketmouth is known not just for his amazing jokes that get you rolling off your seats but also for his unruly locks.  Seems like that would no longer be an identifier for the ace comedian Basketmouth who, as of this morning took out his signature locks. According to Basketmouth, he had been sporting the look for almost 9 years and decided it was time for a new look. Speaking to Bellanaija, he says:

The 2012 MOBO Awards nominations have been released and once again our Nigerian artistes P'square and D'banj got nominated for the 'Best African Act'  Awards, othjer include Fatoumata Diawara, The Very Best, Spoek Mathambo, Fally Ipupa, Sarkodie, Cabo Snoop, Camp Mulla and Amadou and Mariam.

The award holds on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at the Echo Arena, Liverpool, UK

D'banj Made Me, 2face Greatly Influenced What I am Today - Don Jazzy

Prolific and highly talented producer/ MAVIN Records CEO Donjazzy has today taken to twitter to give praise-in his own words *#Kudos* to deserving people for how they have affected his development as a producer and success so far.
The recipients of these Kudos include D'banj, 2face, Wande Coal, D'prince, His twitter followers and fans.
He also answered the question on  many people's lips as to why despite having almost 0.5 million followers, he has still not been officially verified by twitter.

Since ending his four year marriage to Stephanie Henshaw in June this year, Pastor Chris Okotie has never really opened up about what led to his decision to end his marriage. There has been a lot of speculations in the media and he finally decided to react to some of it. He gave an exclusive interview to City People magazine through a minister in his church, Rev Grace Funmi Paul, a member of House Hold of God for the past 25 years. It's a long interview but I'm just going to pick some parts I think might interest you all. See it below...

Rev Grace Paul: A blind person knows that my pastor loved his wife, Stephanie, passionately. This year before the separation, he had taken her out of the country at least three times to different places like Dubai, US and so on. He loved her, so did the congregation but the bible says that two cannot walk together except they agree. In the establishment of the kingdom of God, the rules change because the rules are made by God and not by man. So, it didn't have to do with what pastor wanted to do, because left to him, his love will keep him struggling and going at it but if God gives him instruction he has to follow it through.
