My Husband is Aware of My unclad Pictures, and He is not moved, Besides I am still Born Again - Maheeda says......

For those who aren’t tired of Maheeda, Read excerpts from this new interview in which she says her husband is aware of her nudes ,she is still born-again and friends with Donjazzy, Olamide and Phyno It is deliberateThe pictures are not targeted at anything. It is all about attention and there is no mistake about it. This business of music is called show-business and I am convinced I am on the right track. I owe no apologies. I just realized this way will be a faster hit than any other way.

The pictures are working form As you can see, there’s so much attention on me. All of a sudden, people want to listen to my old singles and are looking forward to my debut album. In this life, everybody gets criticized whether you do good or bad. I have read and heard so much about me that I am now used to it. Thanks to them, they have helped me develop a thick skin.

Relationship
I am married and my husband is Dutch. What I am doing is not alien to him or his family and he understands. I met him at a bar when he just came to Nigeria. We are happily married. Even before we got married, he understood my kind of person. He was aware of my vision. He has always been supportive. He just laughs whenever he comes across any of my pictures. It’s in Africa that we attach much importance to such things and consider it sacrilegious.

I am 31 and I had my daughter when I was 17. I do not think this is going to affect her in any way. If my mother did something like this; there is no way it would have affected me. My daughter is not even aware these unclad pictures exist even though she has seen pictures of me in bikini. She is not even allowed access to the social media. Even if she gets to view them eventually, it’s not going to mean anything to her because she has the European mentality. When my daughter is 18, then she can decide what she wants. Currently, she is under my care and I won’t let her do what I am doing.

FriendshipI have quite a few of them. Don Jazzy is my friend, Olamide and Phyno just to mention but a few. Gospel artistes? No, but I became a born-again Christian and decided that I wanted to continue with secular music. Whether people accept it or not, I am a born-again Christian and that is why I describe my music as honest music. I am not perfect but I’m just living my life in the best possible way.

Mercy Johnson On Life, Marriage And Motherhood - And How Genevieve Nnaji Made her go into Acting

She has been on top of her game as one of the best actresses in Nigeria ever since she featured in the movie 'The Maid' years back. She is a wife and a mother. Read her interview below;

What has Mercy Johnson been up to lately?
I have been busy shooting movies, moving from one location to the other. I give God all the glory.

You recently set up the Mercy Johnson Foundation. How far has it gone?
So far so good; it’s progressing. It’s been God all the way.

How many movies can you recollect doing so far?
Over 100 movies.
What were your days like as a  child?
I was a tomboy. I am the fourth child from a family of seven children. The first four are girls and the last three are boys. So, I actually moved a lot with my brothers, climbing trees and stuff like that. We didn’t get everything we wanted but we got everything we needed. I’m from a very humble background; a Christian family. My dad is an ex-military officer and we basically grew up in a military environment. I attended Navy primary and secondary schools until I went to the Lagos State University.

And how has it been through fame and glamour? There have been the good and bad times; there have been rumours and scandals. Sometimes when I cry in movies, it isn’t the script that makes me cry. When I recall my humble beginning, I give thanks to God. When I remember how we moved into an uncompleted building and had to take cover whenever it rained because of the condition of the house; how my brother did a menial job as a bricklayer to earn a living and those days when we rolled over a stick to cover the windows up till the point when I started acting and raised money to cover the roof… I recall those days we were living with lizards because the floor and the walls of the house were not plastered, or when I had scars as a result of my several falls.

Ramsey Nouah Narrates The Story of His Life - Exclusive Interview

He is handsome and cute. He is the kind of guy every woman would love to have. For his numerous roles in romantic films, his fans call him ‘lover-boy’. But most of them may never know that behind his handsome face lies ‘the bad and the ugly’.

In this exclusive chat with The Entertainer, Ramsey Tokunbo Nouah recalls the unforgettable, tormenting experiences of his life when he was humbled by poverty. Here, he remembers the dark days when he slept under the bridge in Lagos without food. His story is quite touching. Excerpts:

You are no longer constant in movies. What is happening to you?
I am still on the screen; I pray for better industry than what we have. We don’t have a proper structure and it is affecting us. It is affecting so many of us because we don’t have a secured future. For instance, some veteran actors passed on and people had to gather just to try and give them a befitting burial. That shouldn’t be the case. We have an industry that just paid you one off. It is not in any way protective of the interest of the practitioners, it is not really helping us. I believe strongly that we need to do a more integrated production, quality production that will last, like when we started at the beginning. All the stories are not encouraging and technicality we are not growing, all these help to slow down the growth of the industry. And without growth there are can never be a future, without dynamics you can’t see the frontier. Basically, that’s what we are suffering right now and there must be changes. The concern of most people shooting now is about making their money back. They don’t have passion or love for the industry like we do. So, that’s the reason why I am not acting. I love doing a good job, something that will benefit the industry, a movie that whenever you pick it up, if it is five or 20 years you can still watch and be happy. I want a situation whereby I will do a job and my great grandchildren will know me by my work. ‘Oh my great grandfather did this, yes he is the one’. That is what I want to do to leave a mark, a legacy, no just a passing face.

A lot of your colleagues have gone into producing their own movies. Is that the reason you don’t want to join the trend?
I am working towards producing mine at the moment, but the reason why it is taking me this long is because I wanted to get it right. I don’t just want to come out with something little or something that wouldn’t be of standard. I am one of the pioneers saying that we should have a better industry. Definitely, I should come out with something really nice. And that’s why it is taking me so long but I will be coming out with something this year.
