To celebrate this diva, we will be highlighting her 5 most loved movies:

1. Missing Angel is a 2004 Nigerian film directed by Charles Novia and starring Stella Damasus Aboderin and Desmond Elliot. The plot deals with Dolly (Stella), a troubled young woman who makes a vow to God that she should die on her twenty-fifth birthday, if her misery continued. Dolly was an orphan and poor as a church rat.
Her only beacon of hope who was her junior brother, died because she could not afford food and good hospital treatment for him.
Tired of all her sufferings, she vowed that on her 25th birthday, if God did not answer her prayers then He should take her life. The angels of darkness took her up on this vow. She won a lottery and her luck turned around. She became a rich lady with a booming business and her 25th birthday was fast approaching. A dark angel (Elliot) is sent to manipulate her, but slowly falls in love with her.

2. Games Women Play is a 2005 Nigerian film produced by RJ productions featuring Stella Damasus-Aboderin, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde and Genevieve Nnaji.
One is a very popular actress (Nnaji), one is a doctor (Jalade) and the third is a house wife (Damasus).
Nnaji's character is very plucky and very silly as well, yet she is able to have a wonderful and charming boyfriend (played by Desmond Elliot) and they seemingly love each other so much.

One day however, both Nnaji's character as well as Damasus's decide to find out how much Elliot's character truly loves Nnaji's, so they convince Jalade's character to go and seduce Elliot's character. Things go horribly wrong when the two accidentally fall in love with each other behind Nnaji's back.

3.  The Bridesmaid was produced and directed by Charles Novia.
Twenty-six-year-old Tega (Stella Aboderin) couldn’t take it anymore after seven bridesmaid gigs within one year.
At her friend’s (Eliza’s) wedding, she is no longer a happy camper. All her attempts at being the bride have met with scandalous dead-ends, as if her world is full of married men. She resigns herself to faith when another friend and go-getter, 28-year-old Kate (Kate Henshaw-Nuttall), catches the bride's bouquet at Eliza’s wedding and books her (Tega) to be the bridesmaid!

Enter playboy Steve (RMD), an orphan adopted and raised by a very rich man, Chief Nakpodia (T. J. Morgan), who has recently passed and who himself was adopted, leaving a videotaped will. The lawyer, Barrister Omu (Henri Ese Sainyo) wastes no time in revealing the unique format of the will. The gist: Steve stands to inherit Nakpodia’s stupendous wealth on one condition, or else he will lose everything. The question then is: Where will Steve find within three months a woman that will love him and marry him for him – not for the money.

4. Dangerous Twins tells the story of twins both played by Ramsey Noah, that decided to switch lives for a change of pace. One twin, Kehinde resides in Nigeria and Taiye in London. Kehinde, the more playful of the two is married to Stella Damadus with 3 kids while Taiye the more responsible and serious is unsuccessful at impregnating his wife.

Due to both of their problems, the twins decides to switch identities so that Kehinde can impregnate Taiye’s wife and Taiye can assist Kehinde in his business affairs.
After living each other’s lives for some months, Kehinde decides that he prefers his brother’s life to his own and refuses to switch back, thereby leading Taiye to implore any means to rightfully obtain his life back.

5. Two Brides and a Baby is a beautifully crafted romantic comedy about a couple, Keche (Keira Hewatch) and Kole (OC Ukeje) who planned for a beautiful wedding ceremony and hoped for a blissful life thereafter….until the unexpected happens!
It all began on the day before the wedding, during the wedding rehearsal, surrounded by friends and family when the groom’s ex girlfriend (Stella Damasus) suddenly showed up, bringing along a basket full of drama.
Cupboard full of secrets were soon opened, exposing the concealed reactions of everyone directly involved, including a challenged married couple (Deji and Ene) and a troubled engaged couple (Ugo and Maye).

In conclusion, Stella says "Since I surrendered myself and my career to God, He’s been able to order my steps. I’m not allowed to be everywhere. I’m only at places where I have to be attended to. I don’t have any regrets at all. I’m happy the way my career has turned out. I’m happy with the pace with which I’m going.”
