Thanks to everyone for being there in 2013.... We look forward to a bigger 2014. Grateful Heart!!!

Hello Peeps. I am most grateful to God for this day. I can't count my 2013 blessings without remembering you guys. God bless you.

To all who have been friends truly, who have loved me without an eye blink. Who have been there at my downtimes to lift me up, and to support me. Who have made sacrifices for my happiness. Who accepted me for who I am despite my mistakes at times. Remembering there is a friend somewhere who thinks about me, and loves me makes me live! Yes... Live. Thank you, and keep being true to me... I love u.

To all who pretended to love me, took my trust for granted, and stabbed me behind.... Yes! I got that also this year. I've forgiven you, but have learnt my lessons. It is part of life.... I still love u.

To my ex colleagues at VConnect, you played a huge part in making me realise how strong I can be in the face of challenges. You brought out my best.... I love u guys.

And to the staff & management of MainOne Cable, thanks for the opportunity, thanks for believing in me... I love u guys.

To my blog readers, even when I don't BC my posts, you still remember my URL.... I love u.

To all the people I offended, knowingly and unknowingly. I apologise from my heart.

It's been a fantastic year. I am excited about this day, and how far we have come in achieving our desired goals. And I am certain about what He will do in 2014. All you need is faith and focus. Believe in yourself, and just do it.

My Team and I are working towards promoting 'Ifeanyi Opara' as a big brand in Africa in 2014. God's grace, we will all get there.

I wish you a year filled with joy and fulfilment. I can't wait to celebrate with you in 2014. We shall live in good health. God bless you..... I love You from my heart!!!

Chidinma taks about her sex scandal, and says stardom isn't fun

Kora award winner and Ex Project Fame winner, Chidinma Ekile, tells ‘Nonye Ben-Nwankwo how she has been able to manage the recent controversies surrounding her

You won Kora Awards last year and this year again, you were nominated for an international award, Channel O Awards. Did you ever imagine that you would get to this stage?

No way. I never imagined it in any way. All I did was just to be focused. I knew this was what I loved doing and I decided to just keep doing it. I didn’t expect that it would get this big. Sometimes I sit back and I think back of how it started.

But did the awards have any impact on your career?

Oh yes. When I won the Kora and got back to Nigeria, it was a whole different experience. People started treating me differently. They wondered how ‘small’ Chidinma could go to Cote D’ivoire and bring the Kora home. It added to my profile. Being nominated for the Channel O Award is a big deal for me even if I didn’t clinch the award. Read more after the cut......
