She was one of the few Nigerian actresses who started the job of interpreting scripts before cameras. She made it big in the industry and relocated to the US, where she went into a new profession. She took up a job at a New York Hospital as a Nurse.

Born Imaobong Regina Askia Usoro in Lagos in 1967, the actress left the Nollywood scene in the last ’90s, relocating with her family to the US. She is happily married to Rudy Williams and has a 10 year old daughter Teesa and an eight year old son; Rudy Jnr. Tessa, (who is following in her mum’s footsteps as a model) is currently schooling in France.
